Summer’s Days are Over

I was once a big fan of The O.C. I loved the drama and the super hot cast. Seth and Summer were my favorite O.C. couple. They were both so quirky and so damn good-looking. Although I secretly had a thing for the brooding Adam Brody, I was happy to know that the two were more than just friends off-screen, as well. They just seemed to fit. They looked great together and I felt the chemistry between them oozing out of my TV screen. Although they are no longer together, I get flashbacks of Seth and Summer’s high school love every time I watch Hart of Dixie.

But Bilson tells Lucky Magazine that her memories were not so fond. Bilson is quoted in Lucky saying, “I just had absolutely no idea that all that… being on The O.C., dating Adam—was going to end up being so invasive.” It sounds to me like the relationship was given too much attention. But who wouldn’t watch Bilson and whoever she is dating all day long? She told Lucky that she has fun playing Zoe Hart. She says, “I don’t mind being the center of attention as a character but in real life it’s not for me.”

Whether you like it or not, Ms. Bilson, we love to make you the center of our attention. Whether playing Summer or Dr. Hart, she’s got that somethin’ that we just can’t get enough of.
