For many reasons, including the lack of insurance, lack of awareness and poor access to doctors, a growing number of men go without access to regular health care services. The Men’s Health Forum is a shared effort by area hospitals, health care organizations, churches, community organizations, and businesses to offer help to men who are uninsured, underinsured, or do not have a regular health care provider. Moffitt Cancer Center is an NCI designated cancer center with a focus on scientific excellence and extensive resources focused on cancer and cancer-related problems. The mission of Moffitt Cancer Center is to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer. One of their prevention efforts is to annually present the Men’s Health Forum.
This year’s Men’s Health Forum will be Saturday, March 17th at the University of South Florida Marshall Center. Registration is from 8am-12:30pm.
