It’s that time of year again.

Time to find all your green clothes, drink some green beer and pretend you’re Irish for a day.

Here’s what we think are the best places in Tampa Bay to celebrate good ol’ St. Patty’s Day!!

On Saturday, March 17th, the Garrison Channel goes green for the fourth year in a row, using an environmentally friendly liquid concentrate. Presented by Yacht StarShip, and media sponsor TBT and Tampa Bay Times. Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in the Channel District will be the place to be. A whole day of activities and events, ending with a huge celebration in Channelside.

The fun starts at 1pm!

Tampa celebrates the life of the patron saint of the Ireland with festivities. A parade with floats accompanied by green-clad dancers and traditional Irish music.

They rope off an area in the parking lot and open up more bars in the outside area. There is also live music direct from Ireland, a Tampa Bay pipe band and it wouldn’t be a real party without Irish Dancers.
