Lately we have seen the 80s trend everywhere. We particularly enjoy this trend right now especially because our new show The Carrie Diaries is set in 1984. It’s like our trend world and our TV world our combined and we’re freaking thrilled.. (if you couldn’t tell). Some of the trends that can be attributed to the 80s style are: neon, crop-tops, mini-skirts, large earrings, over-sized tops, jean jackets, pink lip stick and side-ponytails.

The good thing about The Carrie Diaries is that the cool 80s style is now back in style… at least the good stuff like listed above. After watching a sneak peek of the first episode of The Carries Diaries we were delighted to see that Carrie wears the kind of 80s fashion that we are now seeing today on the streets and in the magazines. Carrie’s fashion sense, even in the 80s… amidst all the overdone blue eyeshadow and tacky jewelry, still shines through. The Carrie Diaries is coming this Spring to CW44!!
