Eye for an Eye, Ponytail for Ponytail

This is just like something out of an episode of Eye For An Eye!

A 3-year-old girl walked into a McDonald’s in Price, Utah with long flowing hair down to her waist, but walked out with her hair cut to her jaw.

Two teenage girls, ages 13 and 11, befriended the young girl and then chopped her hair off. The two girls asked the McDonald’s employees for a pair of scissors, which they denied them. The girls then went ahead to a nearby dollar store to buy a pair and then returned to cut the child’s hair.

The mother of the 13-year-old girl, Valerie Bruno, was told by District Juvenile Judge Scott Johansen that she could cut off her daughter’s hair right in court, or have her daughter spend another 150 hours in detention for punishment.

The mother agreed to cut her daughter’s hair although is now angered by the situation and has filed a complaint against Judge Johansen.

What do you think of the judge’s ruling? Leave your comments and let us know!

You can check out similar situations such as this on Eye For An Eye, which airs Monday through Friday at 1:00 and 1:30 PM on CW44. The show features Judge “Extreme” Akim giving out punishments that fit the crime.
