It was called Yellow…

The Wendy Diaries

There is no better way to spend an evening than listening to live music. And there is something so powerful about listening to a sold out arena singing along to a beautiful song. There was much of that last night at the Coldplay show. They performed at the Tampa Bay Times Forum, and I was lucky enough to get a chance to go. I went in with pretty low expectations, as I had seen them play six years ago and was unimpressed. But, let me tell you, they blew me away. Not only did they sound great, but the whole arena was turned into a light show. As fans entered the Forum, they were given bracelets that lit up to the beat of the music. Everywhere you looked were pink, red, green, blues and purples dancing to the music. To add to the drama of it all, when the band came out for an encore they popped up somewhere in the audience and performed among their fans. I thought that was a kind of cool way to start an encore. Overall, the band totally changed my mind!
