Lightning Player Teddy Purcell Gets 3-year Extension

Edward “Teddy” Purcell is here to stay!

The Tampa Bay Lightning right-winger has just signed a contract with the hockey team to keep him until the 2015-2016 season.  The news was posted Tuesday, July 10th on the team’s website.

The six-foot-two, 201 pound hockey player from Canada just had his breakout season. He finished third this past season on the team’s rankings.

We know that with this extension Purcell will continue to push the Lightning to greatness.
