Missed Comic-Con? Don’t Miss Dragon*Con!

We know California is a long drive but if you are still kicking yourself for missing this year’s Comic-Con you have a chance to redeem yourself.

Dragon*Con is the next big fantasy sci-fi event and it is just a few hours away from home!

Dragon*Con will take place in Atlanta, August 31-September 3, the convention draws attendance of 46,000, features hundreds of guests and  and runs thousands of hours of programming for fans of science fiction, fantasy, comic books, and other elements of fan culture. Plus it’s a holiday weekend so you don’t even need to use your vacation days at work!

The Vampire Diaries: Actors Kat Graham, Steven R. McQueen, Joseph Morgan, Ian Somerhalder, Michael Trevino and Paul Wesley.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Actors include Amber Benson who played Tara Maclay, Juliet Landau who played Drusilla, and James Marsters, who repeated his role as Spike in Angel. Marsters has also appeared on CW’s Smallville and Supernatural for guest roles.

Writers: Novelists Keith R.A. DeCandido and Nancy L. Holder have written for BuffySupernaturalAngelSmallville and more. Also Jane Espenson who has written for Buffy the Vampire SlayerAngelGilmore GirlsBattlestar Galactica and many more.

Other Notable Actors: Aaron Ashmore, as Jimmy Olsen in Smallville. Anthony Michael Hall from Sixteen CandlesThe Breakfast Club and Weird Science. Joe Manganiello, the star of Magic Mike and werewolf Alcide on True Blood. Patrick Stewart, who’s known for his performances in Star Trek and as Professor Xavier in the X-Men films.
