Things are getting remodeled on the America’s Next Top Model Cycle 19! New faces, new jobs and hot men!
There’s a new photo shoot creative consultant, Johnny Wujek, who will replace the beloved Jay Manuel on photo shoots and other challenges. Wujek is a former model and a famed fashion stylist to stars such as Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry.
Next we have former boxer and international male supermodel Rob Evans who has modeled for Calvin Klein, GQ and Jean Paul Gaultier and many more.
The show is also introducing its first-ever social media correspondent, top fashion blogger Bryanboy. Bryanboy will use his extensive knowledge of both fashion and social media to mentor the models and highlight the scores, comments and video messages from the viewers that will be revealed in the show during judging.
Although this cycle is different because the judges don’t have all the say in who stays and who goes, fan voting will now play a factor in the competition. Over the course of production, fans had numerous opportunities each week to vote online, through social media and via mobile, to choose their favorite contestants based on photo shoots taken during production. These scores were added to scores from Banks and the judges to help determine who was eliminated throughout the cycle. Also, in a new twist, the girls who have already been eliminated were given the opportunity to return to the competition via votes on their photo shoot pictures, which allowed the audience the chance to save their favorite model. Fans will have to tune in to see how their votes impacted the competition when the show returns Friday, August 24th.
