A Jason Mraz Experience

1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheater, August 14th, Tampa

I was lucky enough to get to go to the Jason Mraz concert last night at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheater. It was a blast, I did kinda have to drag my boyfriend to go with me, but he really ended up enjoying himself. He happens to be a huge fan of the saxophone or pretty much any brass instrument and Jason Mraz is all about music at his shows. He showcased his musicians and it really added to the whole experience. It was such a great atmosphere and a relaxed environment at the concert. Jason himself was hilarious in between his sets, asking Gary a plethora of questions, such as, “If quizzes are quizzical, then what are tests?” He also asked, “If you throw a kitty out of the car window, is it kitty-litter?” Haha he was cracking us up all night long. I really enjoyed how he was able to be funny while kinda making fun of the terribly awful name (Ask Gary Amp). Some of the other questions that Jason Mraz asked Gary included,

“When a cow laughs does milk spew out of its nose?”

“Can fat people go skinny dipping?”

“Why is the word ‘abbreviation’ so long?”

“Who’s the asshole that put the ‘S’ in lisp?”

He also threw in some politically charged questions such as:

“What’s it going to take Florida to vote Obama?”

“If pro is the opposite of con, is progress the opposite of Congress?”

“Why do only two people run for office when 50 women run for Miss America?”

The Jason Mraz concert was quite an experience and I’m glad I had the chance to go. I would definitely recommend going to see Jason Mraz’s ‘Tour is a Four Letter Word.”
