Trend Alert: Cat Eye Make-Up

What's Trending in Fashion!

The cat eye or winged eyeliner look is making us fall in love this Fall. It adds a classic, retro feel to any look. We’ve seen the cat eye a lot this Fall on trendsetters such as Lauren Conrad, Taylor Swift and even one of our favorite fashion bloggers Keiko Lynn.

The key to making this look fabulous is pairing the cat eye with a red or pink lip and light makeup. This look is very simple and the more practice, the easier it becomes. The best way to achieve this look is with a gel eyeliner and a fine tip brush. Start on the inner corner of your eye and gradually increase the thickness of the line as you move toward the outer corner of your eye and then move slightly upward (toward the end of you brow) creating the cat eye or winged effect. Curl your lashes and apply a good amount of your favorite mascara. Finish the look off with a red or pink lipstick and you’re set to go.

Someone who has perfected this look is Dita Von Teese, she always looks like a pin-up girl. Now if only we could get our hands on her shoe collection!
