It’s almost 2013! Can you believe it? Unfortunately whether you can or can’t is irrelevant because it’s coming and it’s time to celebrate. That is, if the world doesn’t end this Friday. Some believe that 2013 is going to be an unlucky year, but for most of us the coming of 2013 is just another reason to have some fun with good friends. That’s why it’s our job to let you know what are the best places to go in the Tampa Bay area this New Year’s Eve 2013.

Florida Aquarium’s Aqua-Eve

Florida Aquarium, Downtown Tampa

9:00pm – 1:00am

Splash in the New Year by celebrating at The Florida Aquarium’s Aqua-Eve! Guests will enjoy fantastic entertainment, complimentary food, beer and wine; and a champagne toast with the best view in town for an amazing fireworks display over the channel at midnight! All exhibits will be open.

Outback Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade & Band Blast

Ybor City

Event starts at 5:30pm

Ybor City is the site of this festive celebration featuring the Outback Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade and a pep rally by the college marching bands and cheerleaders. The parade will feature floats and twenty marching bands! The Parade runs along 7th Avenue.

Note: Be there early, the streets will fill up and parking can become difficult.

Lowry Park Zoo’s Noon Year’s Eve

Lowry Park Zoo, Tampa

9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Ring in the New Year family style at the annual “Noon” Year’s Eve daytime celebration hosted by the Zoo and Radio Disney AM 1380. The party begins when the Zoo opens with games, arts and crafts, live entertainment, educational displays and more. Families can ring in the New Year with noisemakers, hats and a juice toast as they watch the clock strike 12 NOON. Activities are included with Zoo admission.

New Years Eve 2013 Celebration is the 10th Annual “Light up Tampa Bay”

Fireworks start at Midnight

Channelside will “Light Up Tampa Bay” on New Year’s Eve with live entertainment and a midnight Fireworks Show and Ball Drop along the downtown Tampa waterfront. Enjoy the many restaurants and night spots at Channelside.

The 2013 Channelside New Years Celebration is a FREE event and is open to the public. Arrive early so you can get the perfect spot picked out to watch the fireworks over the Bay.

Rooftop Eve 2013

Hyde Park, Tampa

The Rooftop Eve is a Tampa New Year’s Eve tradition taking place in a dazzling setting atop Hyde Park Village.  This one of a kind New Year’s Eve celebration will feature an all-inclusive open bar, live entertainment, VIP service, and more with beautiful views of the Tampa skyline and all the midnight fireworks.

A citywide, family friendly New Year’s Eve celebration in Downtown St. Pete featuring tons of live entertainment, fireworks, and more. Activities such as crafting New Years Eve hats, a musical petting zoo, a bonfire and ice skating will keep everyone entertained.
