Last night was the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards and I already did a best and worst dressed post on Friday after the Critics’ Choice Awards (read that post here). So I figured I’d write about the trends that we saw all over the red carpet this year. Ball-gowns, peplum dresses, lots of cleavage and three classic colors took over the red carpet this year and if you couldn’t tell from the title of this post those colors are, red, black and white. Every starlet and their mother was wearing one of these three colors.. ok so we’re not sure what their mothers were wearing… but we proceed. The looks that we saw this year were classic… classic lines, classic colors and a lot of old Hollywood type hair styles, with the exception of Jennifer Laurence’s weird boob dress. But enough talking, let’s take a look at who pulled off these classic looks.
