Easter (March 31st) is fast approaching. Lucky for us, all the great attractions in Tampa Bay have planned out plenty of events for your Easter celebration.

Easter Experience – Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens has hosted Easter events year after year filled with egg hunts, crafts, prizes and surprises! This year Busch Gardens started early with their Easter festivities starting March 14th.  The Easter Experience will last though Saturday, March 30th.  At the park, make easter crafts all day and get a picture with the Easter Bunny.  There will be Easter egg hunts held eight times a day starting at 10am.  Don’t miss out on the games and treats. Busch Gardens has several packages for all of their Easter events.

Packages:

  • Participation in Egg Hunt, Craft Session and one (1) 6×8 photo of child with Easter Bunny: $15
  • Participation in Egg Hunt and Craft Session only: $5
  • Photo with Easter Bunny only: $10.

Easter Weekend Fun – The Florida Aquarium

The Florida Aquarium will host a full weekend of Easter fun from Friday, March 29 to Sunday, March 31st.  Their events are specially planned to fit their aquatic theme, even if bunnies can’t swim.  There’s an Underwater Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt for kids 12 years and younger.  Complete the hunt and each child will win a special prize! There will also be a diving Easter Bunny and photos! Photos are held daily from 10am-2pm.  In addition to a diving easter bunny, the Florida Aquarium Mermaids will make an appearance at 10am, 11:30am, 2pm, and 3:30pm.  When you and your family get hungry, there’s an Easter Picnic from 11am to 3:30pm. The picnic includes country fried chicken, BBQ ribs, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, corn bread, cookies, brownies, lemonade and sweet tea.

Orangutan Egg Hunt – Lowry Park Zoo

The Lowry Park Zoo hosts an annual Egg hunt for both its primates and its guests! Enjoy a special treat  joining with the orangutans as they hunt for eggs as a big family.  All guests of the zoo will get to join the hunt and receive special prizes.  The Egg Hunt is included in the Zoo admission.  Join Lowry Park Zoo for the Easter fun on Friday, March 29th at 11am.
