There is nothing better than coming home from a long, hard day at the beach and relaxing to some great new TV. Well guess what, we have got you covered! This summer, we have a list of new, and old, programming to fill your nights all summer long!
Grab your ballet flats and prepare yourself for an intense summer! Returning for its second season on CW44, Breaking Pointe goes behind the stage curtain for an intense, unfiltered look at one of the most competitive ballet companies in the country, Ballet West, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Beneath the beauty and glamour of the dance and costumes is gritty dog-eat-dog world of extreme athleticism, focus, dedication, passion, pressure and, of course, the hunt of unattainable… perfection.
Breaking Pointe will be back on CW44 this summer and will air Monday nights at 9p.
The sweet smell of love, and money, fills the air this summer! Perfect Score, hosted by fan-fave Arielle Kebbel (from TVD of course), puts a unique twist in dating game shows by not only giving players a chance to win a date, but also the opportunity to win cold hard cash — IF they can successfully identify their perfect match. In each half hour episode, two friends compete to see who can pick their ideal mate from a group of 12 prospective singles and the player who selects the most compatible single, win the cash prize and the date! Sounds like one hell of a prize!
Perfect Score will premiere this summer on CW44 and will air Tuesday nights at 9p.
Who doesn’t love a little friendly (or maybe not so friendly) competition? In this intense new wilderness competition, 12 teams of 2 will enter “The Arena,” a fenced-in enclosure in the middle of the wild, where they must live for one month and compete against each other for scarce resources.
With $250,000 on the line, it’s a winner-take-all battle in which teams must hunt each other down to survive. This sounds nuts! It’ll be really interesting to see the way people react when they are directly pitted against each other and forced to hunt one another down.
The Hunt will premiere this summer on CW44 and will air Wednesday nights at 9p.
Whose Line is it Anyway?
Yayyy! We can’t wait for this show to come back and we have a feeling it’ll be better than ever! Host Aisha Tyler (love her) and returning cast members Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie will be joined by a guest star each episode. The group will be forced to put their improv skills to the test in front of a studio audience. For more info about the show, check out our previous post: Whose Line is it Anyway Returns to TV!
Whose Line is it Anyway? returns to TV this summer on CW44 and will air Tuesday nights at 8p.
This summer, we can expect some awesome new programming, but don’t forget your Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night faves! Arrow will accompany The Hunt on Wednesday nights, The Vampire Diaries and Beauty and the Beast will continue to air Thursday nights and Nikita and Cult will continue to air Friday nights, all on CW44.
