Rumors of the renewal of Two and a Half Men for a season 11 without Angus T. Jones as a series regular have been swirling around for a few months now. Continuing the show without its half man character is a little off-putting. But now, it has been revealed that the show is looking for an actress to play a woman in her late teens or early 20’s as a new series regular. The twist of the story, she will play the long-lost daughter of Charlie Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper.
The girl will be the replacement for Angus T. Jones’ character in the upcoming season. The character will appear for the first time on the season’s premiere episode. Rumors say that she will show up in Walden Schmidt’s house claiming she is the daughter of the house’s previous owner, Charlie Harper. She will eventually move into the house to live with Walden and her uncle Alan. News of who the mother is hasn’t been revealed.
When Angus T. Jones was not asked back as a series regular, the concept of the show changed, but will the title change, too? There will be no one to represent the half man. Is the new female character supposed to fill that part? Should they change the title of the show to Two men and a Woman?
What do you think? Are you going to miss Jake? Will the female character be a good replacement for Jake?
Don’t forget to watch Two and a Half Men weeknights at 7pm & 10pm on CW44!
