Little miss Hannah Montana has sure grown up! I mean, we all expect child actors to grow up someday, but Miley Cyrus gives “growing up” a whole new meaning.
Cyrus was MIA from the public for a while. Her last movies were “LOL” (2012) and “The Last Song” (2010). Before the release of her new album, Cyrus’ latest album came out in 2010. After her hiatus, Cyrus came back with a brand new image. Her first new single, “We Can’t Stop”, debuted a few weeks ago, and she has since released the music video.
I used to be a big fan of Miley Cyrus. I never really watched Hannah Montana, but I did watch Hannah Montana: The Movie and The Last Song. I even purchased her “Can’t Be Tamed” album which was actually very well done. I will say that I do like her new song “We Can’t Stop” … it is catchy and is a good summer song, but….
THAT MUSIC VIDEO! If you haven’t seen Cryus’ “We Can’t Stop” music video, then you need to. (Click here to watch the music video)
The video consists a lot of crazy-weird stuff! Below are some pictures of the weird stuff that I’m talking about: a guy eating and basking in a bunch of bread slices, a french fry skull, a guy with two tongues, someone pretending to cut their figures off next to fake ones and some pink Pepto Bismol type liquid shooting out, giant teddy bears dancing, lambs with sunglasses, Cyrus making out with a giant Barbie doll and hot dogs and pancakes being flung out of a pinata after Cyrus tears it down … what the heck is this???
For some reason, Eos lip balm decided to sponsor the video, as well. I tried to look past all of the weird stuff in this video and find a deeper meaning. I think she is trying to show that it’s her life, she can do what she wants to and nobody can stop her. She is kind of a rebel soul and I think she enjoys the attention this new music video is giving her.
How do you feel about Miley Cyrus and her new attitude? Are you impressed that she is trying something new or do you feel that she is begging for attention?
