Meet Tomorrow’s People
October is around the corner and with it comes new television series! One of the series we are most excited about is The Tomorrow People. I’m guessing you don’t know much about the cast, but that’s why we’re here.
Robbie Amell is a Canadian actor and the younger cousin of The CW star Stephen Amell (Arrow). His first acting job was playing Eugene Levy and Carmen Electra’s son in Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Before he became the lead character for our show, he starred in several TV shows. He had minor roles in shows like How I Met Your Mother, Revenge and Pretty Little Liars. He got his breakout role in the Nickelodeon series True Jackson, VP. In The Tomorrow People, Amell plays Stephen Jameson.
Before wanting to be an actor, Luke Mitchell wanted to be a professional tennis player. That dream didn’t exactly pan out and so he began his acting career in Australia. In his first professional acting role, he played the part of Chris Knight in the long running soap Neighbours. Later, Mitchell worked with our CW star Phoebe Tonkin (The Originals, The Vampire Diaries) in H20: Just Add Water. In 2009, Mitchell joined the main cast of Home and Away where he won the Most Popular New Male Talent Logie Award for his portrayal of Romeo Smith. He now plays bad boy John Young in The Tomorrow People.
Peyton List started working as a model at the age of 8. She has been on the cover of Girl’s Life magazine more times than anyone else. She started her acting career in 2001 playing the character of Lucy Montgomery in CBS’ soap opera As The World Turns. She then landed guest roles in series like Law & Order, Sex and the City and CW’s Smallville. She had a role in the television series Mad Men and she was in the last season of The CW show 90210. In The Tomorrow People, she plays Cara.
Aaron Yoo has been in several known films over the years. He was in Disturbia, 21 and played the main characters’ best friend in the HBO movie Rocket Science. He appeared in the remakes of Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street. He also had a part in The Bedford Diaries along with Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley. His guest roles include series like Drop Dead Diva and The Closer. He now plays Russel in The Tomorrow People.
Mark Pellegrino has been acting since 1987. He has played recurring characters for several cool shows. He has been on Chuck, the American version of Being Human, Revolution and Dexter. He is most well known for playing Jacob on Lost and Lucifer in the CW series Supernatural. Pellegrino plays the main villain, Dr. Jedikiah Price, in The Tomorrow People.
These actors have been on some really cool shows and films. I cannot wait to see them in our new show and I’m guessing you guys can’t wait either! So don’t forget to tune in to The Tomorrow People this Fall on Wednesdays at 9pm on CW44!
