The CW Developing a “Supernatural” Spinoff

Are you a die hard Supernatural fan? Then we have some exciting news for you!

The CW is developing a spin-off of the long-running hit show. Executive producer, Bob Singer, first announced the project during a press event at Comic-Con.

Details are scarce right now since it is still early in the process, but here is what we know: a new character will be introduced in episode 20, which will also serve as the pilot for the spin-off, and that character will go on to star in the spin-off.

This is not the only spin-off The CW is working on. It is launching another spin-off this fall with the “Vampire Diaries” offshoot “The Originals.”

You can catch new episodes of “Supernatural” on Tuesday, October 15 at 9 p.m. right here on the CW Philly.
