Wiz Khalifa Does A Song With Who??

Wiz Khalifa has maintained a pretty ‘hip-hoppy’ edge throughout his career. I say ‘hip-hoppy’ (that is a technical term) because Wiz is different from other artists. Yes, he raps and features hip-hop legends like Snoop on his records, but his music has a different sound.

Well, believe it or not, his music may soon take on a completely new sound! The Music Wiz is stepping onto very new ground with his upcoming album. Perez Hilton quoted Wiz as saying:

“I got a lot of guest appearances that I’ve already done, but none of them have been cleared for the album yet. I got songs with Miley, I got songs with Adele.”

Miley Cyrus and Adele?! These sound like some crazy match-ups! I am personally excited to hear Adele and Wiz’s work together. Adele has been sampled once or twice in the hip-hop music scene, and the juxtaposition of the two genres always seems to work. Miley, however, is a play from left field! The only thing Miley and Wiz may have in common is their love of Mary Jane (if you catch my drift), but that’s about it. Is this a PR ploy based on Miley’s recent ‘exposure’? Is Miley attempting to test out her rapping chops? Who knows…

I am very interested to see how these pairings pan out and I am very curious to hear who else is hopping on Wiz’s new album. What do you guys think… do you like the genre mix? Or do you think everyone should stay in their own musical corners?
