The Queen Latifah show aired its premiere Monday and boy, did she christen that new Los Angeles studio.

She began the show with some slick dance moves by the legendary John Travolta followed by an interview about his new movie and some inspirational advice. You’d think he’d be about ready to call it quits, but he’s still kicking it and doesn’t see an end anytime soon!

The Queen also surprised a music teacher and his students with a musical performance from Alicia Keys and a renovated music room with all new instruments! It was amazing to watch and I actually shed a tear (I’m not kidding, I literally had one or two tears of joy drop down my cheek). Watching the teacher and the kids see their dreams come true was eye-opening (and eye-tearing, apparently) and beyond inspirational.

The show concluded with a performance by Willow Smith and she blew us out of the park. At the start of her performance, she sounded as if she was experimenting with some sort of British accent. It was one of those “WTF” moments, but luckily she saved it with her  serious pipes. If you missed it, you must watch it!

What did you think of the show? If you missed it, have no fear. She’s on all week… check out the other guests she has lined up.
