On Monday, November 18th, the much-anticipated red carpet premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire took place in Los Angeles. The movie is already receiving rave reviews from the critics, including our very own Couch Potato, T.M. (see his review here)!

But we’ll save the movie talk for T.M., this post is all about the fashion! The Hunger Games red carpet was truly catching fire on Monday! Most of the gowns were beautiful, but some had us a little confused.

Let’s take a look at the red carpet gowns of the ladies from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Elena Sanchez | I love the revealing slit on this dress. The single shoulder strap is a bit odd, but I think she looks beautiful.

Jena Malone | This look is just confusing… not good.

Stef Dawson | I love this gown. It is tastefully sexy and the color suits her perfectly.

Stephanie Leigh Schlund | The detail on this gown is amazing! She looks beautiful.

Willow Shields | The colors of this gown are young and fresh, but the shape and length make her look all grown up. I love this look!

Elizabeth Banks | I love the bright color and perfect silhouette of this dress. Perfection!

Jennifer Lawrence | Not sure how I feel… the top half of this gown is very pretty, but the sheer bottom is strange. She is beautiful, as always, but the dress is not my favorite.

I hope the movie is just as amazing as most of these lovely ladies and their gowns!
