On Thursday, January 16th, The CW hosted the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. Stars, new and old, flocked to L.A. to receive praise from the critics who are usually pretty mean.

Well, since the critics were so sweet and kind during the award show, we decided to give the stars what their used to. It’s time to critique the fashion of the Critic’s Choice Movie Awards!

Margot Robbie | The Australian actress found her break out role in Wolf of Wall Street, and now she’s a household name. I’m sorry, but I have to gush… she is so beautiful! She took a risk in ditching the typical gown for a jump-suit, but she nailed it. I love the lace and the cinching waist. Her simple, quaffed hair is the perfect companion to her elegant jump-suit. Margot is my pick for Best Dress of the night.

Lupita Nyong’o  | When last we saw Lupita, she was striking in her blood orange gown. Now at the Critics’ Choice Awards, she chose the exact opposite in color and was still so striking! The bold white against her gorgeous, dark skin was amazing. The cutouts were tasteful and sexy. She looked beautiful.

Aisha Tyler | As host, Aisha had a few wardrobe changes, but she began the evening in a black, lace gown. While I feel that the dress wasn’t the most flattering, the detail was amazing. The dress is very dark, but her bright red lip brought life to her look.

Sandra Bullock | First, I would like to say thank you Sandra Bullock for dropping the first F-bomb of the night. Secondly, you looked beautiful as you dropped the first F-bomb of the night. I love the color and shape of her gown. I love the simply accent at her waist. At first look, I wasn’t crazy about the ruffles, but the dress grew on me. Beautiful.

Jessica Chastain | I love the train on this dress, but that’s it. Jessica’s skin is flawless and gorgeous, but a color like this seems to wash her out. I don’t like the ruffle around her bust, either. I think a lower cut would have been more complimentary.

Kristen Bell | Her dress was pretty. I like the sparkle and the cut out, but I’m not crazy about the choker at her neck. Kristen Bell has a rocking body, but this dress did not display that at all. Her eye makeup was too heavy which made her beautiful eyes look small and dark. Not my favorite look, Veronica Mars.

Amy Adams | She won a bunch of awards for her acting, but she ain’t winning any when it comes to that dress. The color of the dress threw me. The bright color and the conservative style of the dress just don’t work well together. Amy is my pick for Worst Dressed of the night.

Wow, I guess I’m becoming one of those mean ol’ critics…lol! Who was your pick for Best Dressed?
