Have you ever noticed that recently, every Hollywood story has something to do with crazy scandals filled with partying, breakups and not so flattering mug shots?
Celebrities such as Miley Cryus, Justin Bieber and, very recently, Shia LaBeouf will blame their childish attempts at staying relevant in Hollywood on the stress of fame. The question is, does it work? Are these celebrities maintaining their relevance in pop culture or simply creating a negative image and pushing their antics on society?
In my opinion, the answer is no. There are plenty of celebrities who opt out of bad PR and crazy stories to keep relevant. I have compiled a list of 4 celebrities who don’t need to act crazy and outlandish to stay relevant in Hollywood. Instead they stay relevant by being happy and sending feel good vibes.
4. Queen Latifah: Now the host of her self titled show on our very own CW44, Queen Latifah has always been a well-respected celebrity. From comedies, musicals and television shows, Latifah continues to land roles as unique and noticeable as her personality.
3. Justin Timberlake: The original child star (via the Disney Club), turned boy band singer, turned solo artist/actor. The only “negative” publicity that could possibly surround him came in the form of a tragic denim outfit he wore to the 2001 American Music Awards. Justin focuses on his career and personal life with the help of his updated look and “Suite and Tie” while producing original and innovative music.
2. Ellen DeGeneres: Real talk, how can you not 100% agree with me? Ellen has pranked, joked and laughed her way into our hearts and makes us feel good with her fun and positive outlook on life.
1. Pharrell Williams: With recent hits like “Happy” and his funky Vivienne Westwood hat, at 40 years young, Pharrell continues to send good vibes to everyone and maintains a positive reputation for style without breaking a sweat (or a bottle).
