CW44 #tbt| When Leonardo DiCaprio Loved A Gossip Girl

It’s time for this week’s edition of “Throwback Thursday!” The topic of discussion is Leonardo DiCaprio’s love of the CW’s hit show Gossip Girl!

Okay, so who knows if he ever actually watched the show, but we do know that the show must have caught his attention to notice Blake Lively, aka Serena van der Woodsen.

We all thought Leo and Blake were the real deal, and why wouldn’t we? Blake did, after all, fulfill the characteristics of Leo’s type: blonde, slightly younger and, not to mention, gorgeous. Which leads us to wonder, why did the seemingly perfect hollywood actor/it girl couple fizzle out after only five short months?

In 2011 we had no idea why the couple split, but now, nearly three years later, we may finally know! In a recent interview with CBS’s Gayle King,  Leo admitted that his ideal woman is humble with a good sense of humor. Mhmmm, perhaps Blake wasn’t as humble and filled with humor off-screen as she was onscreen. No, not Serena! That just can’t be true!

I guess we will never  truly know the cause of the split. The real question is, who will Leo have by his side at this year’s Oscars? My bet is that he’ll show-case his bromance with his Wolf Of Wall Street co-star Jonah Hill .
