CW44 #tbt | Sarah Michelle Gellar

Take a moment and think back to the 90s. It was a simpler time, wasn’t it? It was a time before Facebook, before Youtube and before vampires were hot!

The vampires of today are gorgeous creatures. Yes, they may be blood sucking demons from the deep underworld, but they suck blood so beautifully. In 1997, however, vampires were ugly! They were pale, fat, bald, ill-tempered and they all seemed to be leaking out of this thing called the Hellmouth in Sunnydale. They were so terrible, in fact, that the world created a new job position: Vampire Slayer.

Buffy, known to Hollywood as Sarah Michelle Gellar, quickly became the world’s Vampire Slayer. And, boy, could she slay! The world is a better place thanks to Buffy and her heroic work.

So on this Throw Back Thursday, let’s remember the vampires who haunted our dreams and the one woman who saved us time and time again.
