Summer Essentials 2014.3

Summer is in full swing and it’s time to get out and enjoy it. Here’s my list of the top five items you’ll need this summer!

1. Weekender bag

For that quick weekend away from it all, it’s big enough to fit two outfits, flip flops, a bathing suit and any other essentials… no hair dryer will be needed.

Bag: Sole Society

2. Shorts Overalls

This may be the most versatile piece of clothing you could wear over the summer, that is… if you’re willing to buy a pair. I haven’t bought a pair yet, but I’m just searching for the right ones. I love that you can wear them over a bathing suit, or dress them up with a crop top and heels, the options are endless.

3. Sally Hansen Color Foil Nail Polish

Sally Hansen has a new nail polish out and I’m loving it. It’s called color foil and it is true to it’s name. It shines like foil when you paint it on your nails and comes in 10 different shades. Tip: Make sure to add a top coat or it will chip easily.

Can be found at Target or other major retailers.

4. Neutrogena Shine Control Makeup

I use this everyday and it’s great during the summer months because it has a 20 SPF and it controls my shiny complexion. I want the shine on my nails (not my face). For best results use the primer, foundation and powder.

Can be found at most drug stores or major retailers.

5. Texturizing Salt Spray

I swear by this stuff every summer, it smells great and is perfect for achieving that “just left the beach” hair. It’s so easy, just spray on dry hair, scrunch and go!
