Ian Somerhalder Drops Season 6 Hints!

When last we saw Damon Salvatore, all hope seemed lost. Season 5 ended in a dark turn and Damon was gone. After viewing the season 6 trailer (watch it here), we came to the unimaginable realization that Damon may only be a faint hallucination in Elena’s drug riddled mind… until now, that is.

Ian Somerhalder, our favorite big-mouthed vampire, opened up about his work on season 6 in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. He admitted,

“I had some really great scenes with Paul [Wesley] not too long ago, like last week. You definitely see some great stuff with those boys. It’s good when they’re not at one another’s throats.”

Hmmm. This leaves us with so many questions!

  1. Has Damon returned from beyond the grave?
  2. Will Stefan follow Elena’s lead and attempt to revisit Damon through hallucination?
  3. Are Damon and Stefan only reunited through flashbacks?

What are your thoughts on where season 6 will take us? Let us know on Twitter @CW44_TampaBay & Facebook.
