What’s Trending | Athletic Vibes

It seems that everyone is on a health kick lately, everywhere I look there’s a new diet trend or this great new way to work out. (I’m talking about you Crossfit and Zumba.) Usually when I write about fashion I rarely mention things like sneakers or ball caps, but that’s all changing.

The fashion world goes through so many trends that it’s sometimes hard to keep up, but I think adding an athletic vibe to our looks may be one of the easiest trends I’ve seen yet. I mean we all have a baseball cap hanging in our closet and who doesn’t want to wear a pair of cute sweatpants or comfy sneakers?

Well my friends we are all in luck, everything from ball caps and varsity jackets to sneakers and track pants are now being seen on many of our favorite fashionistas.

Get some inspiration below.

Throw on some sneakers…

Add on a sporty tee…

Add a ball cap…

Add a varsity jacket…

Add an athletic pattern…

Add a sports jersey…

1. Wear contrasting items such as a ball cap with heels or a dress with sneakers.

2. Go for a ladylike shape (like the last picture above). The athletic pattern combined with the ladylike dress make for a very interesting and cool outfit.

3. No need to buy anything new, borrow a Nike shirt or sports jersey from your fella or simply throw on some sneakers with your skirt.

4. One of the things I always say, don’t be afraid to try anything, sometimes it will work and sometimes it won’t.
