‘The Flash’ & ‘Supergirl’ Musical Crossover Confirmed

Super speed, vibration control and… a beautiful singing voice? Flash and his new friend Supergirl need to update their Facebook profiles and add Songbirds to their list of superpowers.

The CW confirmed that The Flash and Supergirl will have 2 MUSICAL crossover episodes in addition to their 4 planned crossovers between The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.

Though this may come as a shock to some, this idea was bound to happen. Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist both have musical backgrounds, as do many of the show cast members. In fact, Gustin and Benoist, former Glee stars, seem to have music in their bones. Supergirl executive producer Ali Adler told Variety, “When they’re not acting or flying or punching or exploding things, they’re singing,”

Variety reports that the musical episodes will take place around episode 13 or 14 of the new season.
