According to TV Line , Gillian will not be back as a regular character next season, although she will probably return as a guest star. However, the number of episodes she will appear in is unclear at this time.

Gillian plays hippie surfer girl Ivy, who was last seen on the show taking off with her new boyfriend, Diego, to Mexico. Diego was about to be deported for not having legal papers to stay in the U.S. so Ivy decided to go back to his country with him.

The 26-year-old actress first joined the “90210″ cast in a recurring role on season 2 and was promoted to a series regular for season 3. It is not known why she got a demotion so soon, but it’s possibly due to Ivy’s story lines not being intertwined enough with the rest of the characters.

“90210″ was recently picked up for its 5th season during the CW upfronts last week, but will be moved from Tuesday to Monday night this fall at 8:00 p.m. on the CW.

Agent K, J, and young K are back to save the universe in the time traveling Men in Black 3. It’s been 10 years since fans were subject to the underwhelming Men in Black 2. Even with lousy reviews Men in Black 2 still made a starship full of money but no one seemed interested in revisiting the franchise, outside of Will Smith that is. Men in Black 3 was plagued with negative buzz and stories of an unfinished script. Its lead actor Tommy Lee Jones said he didn’t know what the movie was about and Will Smith’s oversized trailer caused a huge stir while filming was taking place in New York City. Even with all the negative buzz and mediocre reviews the third installment in the franchise still has one thing going for it, Will Smith.

Smith has taken some time off to get his two children’s careers going but he still has strong box office appeal even if his star doesn’t burn as bright as it did five years ago. With that being said the number that comes into my mind is $83 million.  I believe even with negative buzz and The Avengers juggernaut still holding strong Men in Black 3 will gross $83 million over the Memorial day weekend due to inflated tickets sales and everybody’s love of Will Smith. A little word of advice though, don’t kiss the Fresh Prince on the lips like that idiot reporter did on the red carpet last week because you will get slapped in the head.

Here are my predictions for the weekend of May the 25th:

1. Men in Black 3- $83 million
2. The Avengers- $31 Million
3. Battleship- $11 Million

The actor, who plays snarky vampire Damon Salvatore on the hit CW series, used some of his off time to visit the Philippines and pose for a Penshoppe clothing brand campaign photo shoot.

Ian is also planning on doing some sightseeing while there, as well as have himself a good time. It is not known whether his co-star, and real life girlfriend, Nina Dobrev has joined him on this trip yet, however. The pair are usually very hush-hush on their shared time, but they somehow always manage to have a couple of photos taken of themselves together when on vacation.

Speaking to ABS CBN News, Ian gushed about the welcome his fans gave him and how much he is enjoying himself while abroad.

“It feels wonderful. This is a wonderful welcome. I love you guys! I’ve never been here so I’m excited to be here,” Ian said, “The fans sound amazing already.”

Meanwhile, Ian also took on to Twitter saying, “Reporting live from some beautiful island in the Philippines where it’s on my time schedule impossible to sleep past 5AM:( SO beautiful here.”

While in Manila, Ian was lucky enough to attend the Lady Gaga concert in Manila where he managed to send another tweet saying, “Watching my friend Miss Lady Gaga herself rock the hell out of the stage in Manila…”

Incidentally, Lady Gaga just recently dumped Ian’s former “Diaries” co-star, and friend, Taylor Kinney , claiming she had no time for romance now that she’s on tour.

Speaking to E!’s Kristin Dos Santos, stars from the hit CW show gave some hints and thoughts on what could be happening this fall on the next season.

When talking to Ian Somerhalder, who claimed that he had such bad allergies he passed out about 30 minutes into watching the finale, Kristin tired to get some Delena scoop.

So, when she asked if Damon and Elena were “totally done, forever”, Ian teased, “Why would you think that?” Possibly hinting that it definitely is not the end for the couple at all… Plus, he also mentioned how TVD is not predictable at all, hinting that we shouldn’t go with what is in front of us…

As far as Elena being a vampire, Ian thinks that “it would be a lot of fun to see Elena as a vampire.” Then, being the sweet guy that he is, Ian kissed Kristin when she told him how good-looking and “gracious” he was. Not much show spoilage there, but very cute, nonetheless…

Next, Matt Davis, wearing a pair of flashy bright red skinny jeans, mostly spoke about his new show “Cult”. However, when asked by Kristin if we’d see Alaric again on “Vampire Diaries”, he smiled and said, “It’s possible, it’s possible,” and added he actually does know if we will see Alaric again, but teased that he can’t reveal it. This, pretty much confirms that we are going to see him again… yay!

With Stefan being the one Elena ultimately chose, Paul Wesley, had this to say about it “for now, nothing’s for ever… I feel like he deserved it,” but then added that “Stefan and Elena have a lot of history, but I really don’t know what’s going to happen in season 4 and 5 (oooh season 5??)

When asked about what is he hoping to see in season 4 for Stefan, Paul said, “I’m hoping that Stefan still maintains a glimmer of ripper. I don’t want him to become the stereotypical hero again.” Then added that he doesn’t “want him to be a goody-two-shoes. I really want him to maintain a dark side.”

Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev revealed that they first though of having Elena die in the finale and then become a vampire in the season premiere, but “decided it would be a bigger shocker if we did it in the finale.”

As far a the love triangle, Nina hinted about Elena not remembering her choice once she wakes up as a vampire because “she hit her head pretty hard and was in a car accident…” Nina added she really doesn’t know what will go down for sure, but that “there’s a lot of different ways it could go!”

Lastly, Candice Accola spoke about her character Caroline’s relationship with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), admitting that a relationship between them could be fun.

“I really love the dynamic between Caroline and Klaus because it’s very odd,” Caroline said, “it doesn’t make sense at all, and yet it makes perfect sense. It works so well!”

All season long Zoe has had a massive crush on the perfect Southern gentleman George Tucker, who she has many things in common with including a love for New York City and Woody Allen films, but there’s been just one little problem … George is engaged to marry Lemon Breeland (Jamie King), who quickly becomes Zoe’s enemy in the small town of Bluebell, Ala.

Zoe has been friends with Wade from his first day in town, but it’s clear she doesn’t view him as relationship material at first, and with good reason. Wade is the good ole boy in town who gets around and likes to have a good, wild time.

By the end of the finale, it’s evident that Zoe now has feelings for both Wade and George, who’s ready to leave Lemon after finding out that she had an affair with Bluebell’s mayor Lavon Hayes (Cress Williams). This final scene in which she’s just made good on her newfound feelings with Wade only to have George appear on her doorstep was perfect and should make for a great start to season two.

Now, everything in this review so far probably makes “Hart of Dixie” sound like your typical CW show that’s aimed at teenage girls. But, the show really has a “Gilmore Girls” like quality about it that rises above the typical CW slop and makes it appealing to all demographics (even a 24-year old man like me).

Like the former WB/CW show “Gilmore Girls,” “Hart of Dixie” on the surface seems like a show that would only be enjoyed by girls and women, but the characters are so enjoyable, funny, charming and most importantly multi-dimensional that it’s appealing to everybody. Despite not being near as good, “Hart of Dixie” is closer to something like NBC’s critically acclaimed drama “Parenthood” than it is other CW fare like “Gossip Girl” and “90210.”

The first season saw city doctor Zoe Hart take over her late father’s (whom she did not know until right before he died) practice in Bluebell and have to acclimate to small town Southern life throughout most of the season.

Now that Zoe’s comfortable and at home in Bluebell it’ll be interesting to see where this show goes in season two, as it was thankfully renewed last week by the CW. The who’s she going to choose storyline should have fans coming back in full force.

Season two of “Hart of Dixie” can be seen locally on CWARK Conway Corp. Channel 24 on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. starting in the fall.

Detective Catherine Chandler is a smart, no-nonsense homicide detective.  When she was a teenager, Catherine witnessed the murder of her mother at the hands of two gunmen.  Catherine would have been killed too, but someone – or something – saved her.

The low profile real-life couple have been touted to maybe star together in the upcoming adaptation of the popular book series “Fifty Shades of Grey.” However, when Nina spoke with MTV, she said that she would not want to be in the movie with Ian, but that rather either one of them should do the movie with a different co-star.

“I don’t know if that’s a good idea,” Nina said, “I think it would be better [if] either he should get it or I should get it.”

Nina added that it’s better if two actors that already star in The Vampire Diaries together should do movies separately. “If it’s two of the same people, the fans will always see you as … they’ll see me as Elena and they’ll see [Ian] as Damon if we do a film together.”

However, it also seems as if Nina would be just fine not doing the film at all. When asked about the book, Nina said, “All I’ve heard is that it’s very scandalous, to say the least,” and added that she has not read it yet.

She is actually rooting for Ian to get the part more than she is hoping for herself to get it.

“I know that apparently he’s really great for the role,” Nina said, “so, I hope that he gets it.”

NEW YORK – May 17, 2012 – The CW Network presented its 2012-13 broadcast schedule today to advertisers, affiliates and national media at the New York City Center in New York City. Hip-hop star Flo Rida opened the show with a medley of his top hits, featuring the world premiere of his newest song, “Let it Roll (Good Times).”

“One of our biggest priorities this year at The CW was adding more original programming, and we’ve added 50 original hours to our schedule in 2012,” said Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW. “With dynamic new dramas for the fall and midseason, and our first-ever summer schedule leading into our October fall launch, this is poised to be a transformative season for The CW.

“The dramas we have for next season are outstanding, with relatable characters and breakout stars. ‘Arrow,’ starring Stephen Amell in the title role, is a bold, edge-of-your-seat action show, based on the popular DC Comics character; ‘Emily Owens, M.D.’ is funny, emotional, and we have caught lightning in a bottle with an incredible lead actor in Mamie Gummer; ‘Beauty and the Beast’ takes a classic love story and adds a procedural element; ‘The Carrie Diaries,’ with the story of a young Carrie Bradshaw set in the 1980s, is perfect for our audience; and ‘Cult’ is a chilling psychological thriller. We have an unbelievable variety of high quality dramas, all speaking to the 18-to-34-year old audience, set for next season.”

The CW will plan to strategically rollout its new fall season starting in early October 2012. Specific dates to be announced at a later time.

On Monday nights, the most famous zip code in America, 90210, returns at 8:00-9:00 p.m., and GOSSIP GIRL will wrap up its six-season run of OMFG drama at 9:00-10:00 p.m. In January, new series THE CARRIE DIARIES, starring AnnaSophia Robb as the incomparable and iconic Carrie Bradshaw growing up in the 1980s, will follow in GOSSIP GIRL’s stylish heels at 9:00-10:00 p.m.

Tuesdays The CW will play doctor, with HART OF DIXIE, starring Rachel Bilson, bringing its dose of Southern hospitality to 8:00-9:00 p.m., followed by new medical drama EMILY OWENS, M.D. from 9:00-10:00 p.m., starring Mamie Gummer as a surgical intern who discovers, much to her dismay, that working in a hospital feels an awful lot like high school.

The CW gives Wednesday a double dose of high-octane action, with new series ARROW, starring Stephen Amell as the popular DC Comics character, at 8:00-9:00 p.m., followed by this year’s People’s Choice Award-winner for Best Network Drama, SUPERNATURAL, 9:00-10:00 p.m.

Thursday nights The CW’s bloody-good drama THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is back for more heart-stopping thrills and romance, followed by new series BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, starring Kristin Kreuk as a homicide detective and Jay Ryan as a doctor with a dark side… a really dark side.

Fridays are filled with fierce females, with AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL moving to a new night and time, 8:00-9:00 p.m., followed by Maggie Q’s return to action as NIKITA, 9:00-10:00 p.m. New drama CULT, starring Matt Davis as a journalist looking for his brother, who went missing after becoming obsessed with a hit TV show about a menacing cult leader, will premiere at midseason, with a date and time to be announced later.

At long last, Emily Owens feels like she is an actual grown-up.  She can finally put her high school days as the geeky-girl-with-flop-sweats behind her; she’s graduated from medical school and is now a first-year intern at Denver Memorial Hospital, where she’ll have the chance to work with world-famous cardiologist Dr. Gina Beckett – and where, not-so-coincidentally, her med-school crush Will Rider is also an intern.  So why does everyone keep warning her that the hospital is just like high school?  Emily soon finds out the hard way – her high school nemesis, the gorgeous, popular Cassandra Kopelson, is also just starting out at Denver Memorial, and it seems like they’re rivals all over again – not only as surgical interns, but for Will’s attention.  Fellow intern Tyra Granger warns Emily that the cliques at Denver Memorial are all too familiar: the jocks have become orthopedic surgeons; the mean girls are in plastics; the rebels are in the ER, and Tyra has her own awkward place as the principal’s kid – her father is the chief resident.  Emily’s the new kid all over again, and it’s just as awkward as high school.  Only this time around, Emily will have to balance the personal and emotional turmoil of social politics with the high-stakes world of life-and-death medical decisions.   At least she has fellow intern Tyra and nerdy-but-cute resident Micah, to count on as friends.  Emily is growing to realize that although she may be a geek, she may also grow to be a great doctor, flop sweats and all.

AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL is returning with new talent and a new judge – the viewer.  Cycle 19 of the show will offer an interactive experience where, for the first time in AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL history, the public will be able to have a say in who stays and who goes in the competition. Beginning on May 24, fans will have two opportunities each week to vote online at www.cwtv.com and choose their favorite contestants based on photo shoots taken during production.  These scores will be used by Tyra Banks and the judges to help determine who is eliminated each week.  Viewers will also have the opportunity to have their comments and video messages featured in the show when the cycle airs in the fall. In addition to Banks and returning judge, fashion pr maven Kelly Cutrone, international male model Rob Evans will join the judging panel as the third permanent judge. Johnny Wujek, stylist to the stars, including singer Katy Perry, rounds out the group as the new creative consultant, who will guide the models through their photo shoots.  Cycle 19 is also the first-ever college edition, inspired by Banks’ recent graduation from Harvard Business School, and will include students from all across the educational spectrum, from four-year colleges and universities to beauty school students.  These women from all walks of life, all parts of the nation, and all types of continuing education, will be invited to show their school spirit — and their modeling chops— to Tyra and the judges. The girls will vie for a prize package that will launch their modeling careers, as well as help them continue to earn their degree.

“THE CARRIE DIARIES”
It’s 1984, and life isn’t easy for 16-year-old Carrie Bradshaw. Based on the novels “The Carrie Diaries” and “Summer and the City” by Candace Bushnell, THE CARRIE DIARIES is from Fake Empire in association with Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Amy B. Harris (“Sex and the City,” “Gossip Girl”), Josh Schwartz (“Hart of Dixie,” “Gossip Girl”), Stephanie Savage (“Hart of Dixie,” “Gossip Girl”), Len Goldstein (“Hart of Dixie”) and Candace Bushnell. Miguel Arteta (“Englightened,” “Cedar Rapids”) directed the pilot, which was written by Harris.

“CULT”
Investigative journalist Jeff Sefton has learned to laugh off his brother Nate’s relentless string of obsessions, especially his latest rant that a hit TV show intends to harm him.  However, when his brother mysteriously disappears, Jeff takes Nate’s paranoia seriously, and in the process uncovers the dark underworld of the TV show “Cult” and its rabid fans. The only person who seems willing to help Jeff with his investigation is Skye, a young research assistant for “Cult,” who has also started to grow suspicious of the increasingly dark happenings surrounding the show.  The fictitious show, centered on the cat-and-mouse game between charismatic cult leader Billy Grimm and LAPD detective Kelly Collins, has become an obsession for its viewers – and now some of its devotees seem to be taking their fixation to deadly extremes in the real world.  As Jeff and Skye dig deeper into the fan world, they discover that the gruesome plot twists on television are much more than fantasy for some very unfortunate people.  The hardcore fans of “Cult” would kill to see what happens next…

The series stars Matt Davis (“The Vampire Diaries”) as Jeff Sefton, Jessica Lucas (“Melrose Place,” “Cloverfield”) as Skye Yarrow, Alona Tal (“Supernatural,” “The Killing”) as Kelly Collins and Robert Knepper (“Prison Break,” “Shameless”) as Billy Grimm.
