For the past three decades, more than 50,000 children have received orthopedic specialty care in a family-centered environment at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Tampa. The hospital continues to focus on providing the highest quality pediatric medical care to children regardless of the families’ ability to pay and relies on the generosity of donors to sustain its mission. Located on the University of South Florida campus, the Tampa location is a major referral center for complex and highly specialized orthopedic treatment for children throughout Florida and south Georgia. Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation was founded by Celma Mastry, her family and friends in 2003. In 12 years, with the support of Tampa Bay community, they have been able to financially assist ovarian cancer patients and their families with mortgage, rent, utility, car, transportation and prescription payments. The 1st annual Brandon Foundation Masquerade Ball will take place on Nov. 7th at T. Pepin Hospitality Center. Following the wonderful history of the Tampa Bay Wine & Food Festival, this new event will allow the community to come together in a masquerade ball atmosphere.
