Bayside: Shriners Hospitals for Children (9/20)

For the past three decades, more than 50,000 children have received orthopedic specialty care in a family-centered environment at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Tampa. The hospital continues to focus on providing the highest quality pediatric medical care to children regardless of the families’ ability to pay and relies on the generosity of donors to sustain its mission. Located on the University of South Florida campus, the Tampa location is a major referral center for complex and highly specialized orthopedic treatment for children throughout Florida and south Georgia. Bayside: CMOCF Walk (9/6)

Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation was founded by Celma Mastry, her family and friends in 2003. In 12 years, with the support of Tampa Bay community, they have been able to financially assist ovarian cancer patients and their families with mortgage, rent, utility, car, transportation and prescription payments. CMOCF also provides education and awareness of ovarian cancer. Tune in to Bayside for more on the Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation and their upcoming fundraiser.



Bayside: Brandon Foundation Masquerade Ball (8/30)

The 1st annual Brandon Foundation Masquerade Ball will take place on Nov. 7th at T. Pepin Hospitality Center. Following the wonderful history of the Tampa Bay Wine & Food Festival, this new event will allow the community to come together in a masquerade ball atmosphere. Celebrity guests will be on hand to mingle with guests and be paired with our VIP guests for a wonderful experience of ball dancing, great food, wine and spirits.



Bayside: Hurricane Preparedness (10/4)

On this episode of Bayside, we’ll discuss storm season preparation with Duke Energy and Tampa Electric.



Bayside: Hillsborough County PATH (8/9 & 8/23)

Project PATH is a grant funded program designed to attract potential teachers with non-education Bachelor’s degrees who want to teach special needs students (ESE). They’re in their final year of recruitment.



Bayside: Tampa Crossroads (7/5 & 8/2)

Tampa Crossroads is a non-profit organization serving Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco Counties for almost 40 years.



Bayside: United Way Pasco (7/26)

United Way of Pasco County has a blockbuster summer event in the works that needs volunteers from the community.



Bayside: Cyclovia Temple Terrace (5/10)

The event is a worldwide movement that closes the streets to cars for one day and converts them into safe, fun thoroughfares where people can walk, run, bike, skate, scoot, play and just enjoy the city in a whole new way.



Bayside: ASAP (5/24)

The Pasco County Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP) is a partnership of local residents, organizations, and decision makers working to reduce substance abuse in Pasco County.



Bayside: Hurricane Prep 2015 (5/17 & 5/31)

The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 with the peak period in Florida typically in September.
