Bayside: Hungry Howie's Love, Hope & Pizza (10/11)The Seventh annual Love, Hope & Pizza campaign is once again delivering Hope and Courage to the Tampa Bay Area. Hungry Howie’s continues their commitment to raise funds and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and it’s mission to save lives. Bayside: Clearwater Police Department (10/25)The Clearwater Police Department is Pinellas County’s third-largest law enforcement agency. It has more than 230 sworn police officers who protect a city of about 110,000 residents. Two of the most common crimes that plague Clearwater lately are vehicle burglaries and vehicle thefts. Eighty-two percent of vehicle burglaries originate from unlocked cars. On this episode of Bayside, we'll speak to some representatives from CPD who will share how we can keep our valuables safe.

Additionally, My Warrior’s Place offers several amazing programs for those who have put their life on the line for our safety and well being, endured the death of a Fallen Warrior and/or experienced the horrors of war. Bayside: America Lung Association (10/18)The American Lung Association has been fighting for lung health for more than 110 years. In the Tampa Bay area, this organization is helping lung cancer patients and caregivers through their struggles, educating COPD and asthma patients on disease management, and helping smokers to kick the habit. The American Lung Association is working hard in Tampa Bay to provide education, advocacy, and fund research for those affected by lung disease. Bayside: Lupus Walk (9/27)Lupus is an incurable autoimmune disease that affects some 1.5 million Americans and an estimated 5 million people worldwide. Nine out of ten lupus patients are women with the average age of onset between 14 and 45. Lupus is significantly more prevalent in people of color. Linda Ruescher, a lupus patient herself, is the program director for the Lupus Foundation of Florida. On this episode of Bayside, we’ll talk to her about the disease and their upcoming fundraiser.
Bayside: Make-a-Wish and Night of the Iguana (9/13)Make-A-Wish is the world’s largest wish-granting charity. A wish is granted every 37 minutes to a child with a life-threatening medical condition. Make-A-Wish Central & Northern Florida has been granting wishes since 1986 and has granted more than 5,000 local wishes. Bayside: Shriners Hospitals for Children (9/20)For the past three decades, more than 50,000 children have received orthopedic specialty care in a family-centered environment at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Tampa. The hospital continues to focus on providing the highest quality pediatric medical care to children regardless of the families’ ability to pay and relies on the generosity of donors to sustain its mission. Located on the University of South Florida campus, the Tampa location is a major referral center for complex and highly specialized orthopedic treatment for children throughout Florida and south Georgia. Bayside: CMOCF Walk (9/6)Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation was founded by Celma Mastry, her family and friends in 2003. In 12 years, with the support of Tampa Bay community, they have been able to financially assist ovarian cancer patients and their families with mortgage, rent, utility, car, transportation and prescription payments. Bayside: Brandon Foundation Masquerade Ball (8/30)The 1st annual Brandon Foundation Masquerade Ball will take place on Nov. 7th at T. Pepin Hospitality Center. Following the wonderful history of the Tampa Bay Wine & Food Festival, this new event will allow the community to come together in a masquerade ball atmosphere. Celebrity guests will be on hand to mingle with guests and be paired with our VIP guests for a wonderful experience of ball dancing, great food, wine and spirits.
