The store retains normal business hours, closing at 7 p.m., but closes an hour early on Christmas Eve. If you have friends visiting Tampa Bay, then you must give them a cigar from its Floridian mecca, Ybor City. There are over a dozen cigar shops to choose from but only King Corona has an expansive selection of Dominican, Nicaraguan and locally made cigars and a minimum of 12 hours to shop daily. The smoke shop was featured in Cigar Aficionado and retains regular hours during the holiday season, opening at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday and closing between 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. nightly. On Christmas Eve, it closes early at 8 p.m. and reopens two days after Christmas. Most gifts are under $20 and you can purchase Cuban coffee from the cafe to power your last ditch shopping attempt.
