Have you ever seen an actor on TV and know you’ve seen them somewhere else, but don’t remember? This happens to me all the time! I also really enjoy when two actors who previously worked together work together again. Some of our CW’s stars worked together in other shows before becoming part of our CW family.

Phoebe Tonkin and Claire Holt

Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley) plays a werewolf living in Mystic Falls in The Vampire Diaries, but she is moving to New Orleans to join the cast of the new CW Network series The Originals. Claire Holt (Rebekah) went through a similar journey. She plays the only original girl vampire who is following her brother, Klaus, to the new series The Originals.  These two women have been in two CW shows together, but before The Vampire Diaries they played best friends in the Australian television show H2O Just Add Water. They came all the way from Australia to form part of our family. In the show, they played girls who have the ability to turn into mermaids. These two stars have played many cool supernatural creatures.

Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert) plays a girl who is thrown into the supernatural world because she is in love with a vampire in The Vampire Diaries. Shenae Grimes (Annie Wilson) was the new girl in the popular zip code 90210. But, did you know that these two Canadian girls worked together on the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation before coming to The CW. Dobrev played Mia, a teenage mom while Grimes played Darcy, an innocent Christian girl turned hot, popular cheerleader. Their characters in the show were enemies. Guess it’s worked out for both of them now!

Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley

Before Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) and Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) became brothers in The Vampire Diaries and fell in love with the same girl, they both had a small role in another successful CW show, Smallville. Paul played Lucas Luthor,  Lex Luthor’s half-brother and the illegitimate son of Lionel Luthor. He is the only Luthor that wasn’t cloned or revived. Ian played Adam Knight, who started as a love interest for Lana Lang, although we find out later that he was sent by Lionel Luthor to spy on Clark Kent and Lana. Before he was Adam his name was Chad Nash, a teenager who died of liver cancer. Later, he was resurrected by Lionel Luthor and was given his new identity and job.

Aimee Teegarden plays the main girl in the new CW show Star-Crossed (coming Spring 2014). Her character is the new girl in her high school and to make life harder for her she falls in love with an alien. Grey Damon plays the popular guy in the high school who develops a crush on Teegarden’s character. Before Teegarden and Damon became part of The CW family they were on the television show Friday Night Lights together. Teegarden played the high school football coach’s oldest daughter. Her father then convinces Damon’s character to join the football team.

Stephen Amell and Robbie Amell

**BONUS!! These two hotties haven’t work together, but they are cousins! That is one lucky family! Plus their shows will back-to-back Wednesday nights this fall.
