Finally, iOS7! For the first time since I can remember, Apple has finally given us a cool, new update FOR FREE. Most of the updates in the past have made very minor, unnoticeable changes to our iPhones, but this renovation has everyone talking.
Apple Inc. released iOS7 Wednesday, September 18th at 10 a.m. (PST) , which was horrifying for the East coast because we had to actually wait an extra three hours, but it was worth the wait!READ MORE: The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office In Contract With FDOT For Speed Enforcement
The official release of the software update also clarified one of the rumors I’ve been hearing about iOS7, which is:
SCREENSHOT NOTIFICATION: Thank goodness this was just a rumor. I would be terrified if people were notified when I screenshot their texts. Coming from the screen-shotting Queen, I can say that this feature would start a lot of DRAMA, end a lot of relationships and EMBARRASS the living crap out of many of us. Thank you Apple for protecting my screen-shotting freedom.
iOS7 is complete with many new features that make it seem like you have a brand new phone. Many of the features are obvious, but some of them you may come across with time. I tried reading on Apple’s website about the new features, but that was gibberish to me. I’ll sum up my favorites for you:
BLOCKING CALLS: Yes, it is finally possible to block the pesky humans that have been harassing you. This feature is perfect for those late night Taylor Swift listeners, who are staying up in the wee hours of the night in their rooms, tempted to text their ex. It’s also perfect for the men listening to the new Drake album, “block that chick…YOLO”. Whether you’re blocking an ex or a telemarketer, it’s still amazing that this feature is finally here. (Yes, I tested the feature out and it does work.)

NEW STYLE/RINGTONES: The iPhone went thru a metamorphosis. Not to state the obvious, but the iOS7 brought a nice new wardrobe to our iPhones. Bright, colorful and fresh…love it! There’s a new default ringtone and lock sound as well. The lock sound now has added depth and has an echo that sounds as if you’re in a cave. To compliment the cave echoes, the new default ringtone sounds like tribal dance music. Perfect combo… I guess…
CAMERA: SELFIE TIME! New updates to the camera make your selfie’s look even better. Enjoy!
