The CW is at it again pushing the edges of the envelope and staying a step ahead. In what some are calling a broadcast precedent, the network released a steamier, sexier uncensored online version of the broadcast version. It is now available on their website- find it here.
In a report in Entertainment Weekly, the episode, entitled, “The Consummation,” has two questionable scenes, one in the beginning and one at the end. The CW won’t specify exactly what about the two scenes’ content is “too hot for TV,” but EW quotes a network spokesperson as saying they’re not just adding extra R-rated content, just offering a more “sexually intense” edit of the on-air version.READ MORE: Meat Loaf, 'Bat Out Of Hell' Singer, Has Passed At 74
The broadcast version of “The Consummation” aired Thursday, March 6th at 9pm; the online version is now posted on The CW’s site.
