"The Flash" Premieres This Fall on CW44

Well it certainly didn’t take Robbie Amell long to get a new gig. Now not only one, but two cousins, Robbie and Stephen Amell get the chance to play DC superheroes on the small screen. Stephen Amell plays Oliver Queen on The CW’s hit show Arrow and now Robbie Amell has been cast in the spinoff, The Flash.

“I’m so excited to join forces with Greg Berlanti and The CW again on The Flash,” the actor said in a statement. “Being brought into the DC Universe is a dream, I can’t wait to get started.”

Robbie has been cast as the character known as Firestorm. In the comics, young student Raymond and physicist Martin Stein were caught in a nuclear accident that gave them the ability to fuse together into a hero called Firestorm. In the show, Raymond will be the fiance of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker).

You may remember Robbie’s last role in The Tomorrow People was short-lived, but it certainly wasn’t because of his lack of ability or talent. We are so happy to have him back on CW44 and we can’t wait to see The Flash when it premieres Tuesdays this Fall on CW44!
