The mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The Suncoast Chapter of LLS serves 10 counties and runs a number of campaigns including: Light the Night, Man & Woman of the Year, School & Youth, Team in Training, and The Leukemia Cup Regatta.

Lauren Staples (in the photo above) is a survivor. She was diagnosed with blood cancer just after her third birthday and since then she has been in and out of treatment. Thanks to the support of LLS and donations from the community, Lauren is four-years-old and in remission.

When The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk funds treatments for patients like Lauren, it’s all due to people like you. Without your efforts LLS could not provide these lifesaving treatments. LLS really is making cures happen with your help.

This year, CW44 is proud to join forces with LLS in fundraising and participating in the Light the Night Walks! Please join CW44’s effort today by registering to walk or by making a donation. Your participation in the Light The Night Walk will save lives today. Be sure to check our team web site frequently to see our progress, and thanks for your support!
