Brisk fall wind and chilly winter weather takes a toll on our bodies; the exposure to the changes easily dries out nails, skin and hair. Fight the damage by using inexpensive and natural remedies from products you can buy in the grocery store or find already in your cabinets!
Natural oils, are essentially the most ideal moisturizers on the planet. Although you may have only cooked with these products before, you can benefit the same externally as internally by lathering your skin in its natural ingredients. Although you may find it a little strange the first few times you use this as your daily moisturizer… with continued use you will see a clear difference in your healthy glowing skin. Coconut Oil is a specific one that I am a complete fanatic for!
Coconut oil can easily be used as a daily moisturizer, but also in dozens of other ways to create amazing beauty products. Coconu combined with other ingredients such as cinnamon and cocoa powder is a perfect example. This easy recipe is to create a cheap and efficient way to stay bronzed through the sweater weather.Another great way to moisturize your skin is with a revitalizing whipped body butter using only three ingredients found at your local health shop and a blender or mixer!

How to Oil Pull
One last innovative way to use coconut oil to help you stay naturally flawless is through Oil Pulling or, “swooshing.” Oil pulling is said to give you a whiter, brighter and healthier smile, plus it helps to eliminate the bacteria built up inside the mouth resulting in plaque build up.
Make your mouth, dentist and future self happy by starting to “swoosh” daily!
- 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil
- Swoosh in mouth for 15 – 20 minutes
- Spit, rinse mouth and brush teeth
Stated before, there are dozens of ways to use coconut oil in your daily beauty regimen; these are just my three personally favorites.
